Chris Knapper ends the Swamp Stalemate

The weekends warmer weather finally put the fish on the feed at Holden lane Pool, aka ‘The Swamp’. Northern Monkey Chris Knapper put the scores on the board with an impressive tally of fish taken during a three day session, although most fish came during a manic feeding spell on the first day.

Chris took thirteen  carp in total, topped by mirrors of;16lb 6oz and 24lb 6oz, the twenty being the first off the venue in 2006. Chris has sessions planned for the next few weekends but now needs to find some more bait as the weekends activities wiped him out!
