Picture the scene; you’re stalking in the margins when the fish takes the bait and you are straight into battle. You ready the net but by the time the fish is finally beat, the head of the net has sunk to the bottom and now, just when you need to scoop it under the fish, you are tugging away to free it from the weed and debris on the lake bed - not good.
