A warm welcome to Northern-Monkeys.com; a website dedicated to specimen carp angling in-and-around the North Midlands and North West of England. Within the pages of this light-hearted website you will find information on the areas finest carp waters, along with catch reports and news updates.

There are hundreds of UK based carp angling websites on the Internet, and whilst some provide usable information on waters and methods, many contain incorrect or out-of-date material, which can often leave the angler who is searching for information more confused than when they started! Our intention at Northern-Monkeys is to reverse that trend.

The ethos of this website is to provide up-to-date information for regional anglers who are tackling the areas ‘high-profile’ waters whilst also giving some background information and tips to those who may be moving up to fish these waters for the first time. In addition, you will find a wealth of information in our articles section; covering everything from sessions on the Top Pool to beginners guides on carp fishing.
